The Dundas Lions are proud to continue our long-standing commitment to youth and recreation in our community through our recent $1,500 donation to the Dundas Minor Hockey Association for the 2026–2027 season.

Hockey has always been more than just a sport in Dundas. It’s early mornings at the rink, the sound of skates cutting across fresh ice, the teamwork, the resilience, and the friendships that last long after the final buzzer. Recreational hockey plays a vital role in building confidence, character, and community spirit among our youth, values that align closely with the mission of the Lions.
To mark the occasion, Lion Joe Costigan and Lion Greg Best proudly presented a ceremonial “big cheque” on behalf of the club, a moment captured in a photo that reflects not just a donation, but a partnership rooted in community pride. The smiles in that picture tell the story: when local organizations work together, everyone wins.
Our $1,500 contribution will help support programming, equipment needs, and opportunities that ensure hockey remains accessible to families throughout the season. Recreational sport is foundational to a thriving town. It keeps kids active, teaches leadership and teamwork, and strengthens the bonds that make Dundas such a special place to call home.
The Dundas Lions remain committed to supporting local initiatives that make a lasting difference. We are honoured to stand behind Minor Hockey and look forward to cheering on the players throughout the 2026–2027 season.
Here’s to another great year on the ice! 🏒
