As the holiday season approaches, the Dundas Lions Club is proud to continue its tradition of supporting local families and strengthening our community. This year, the club has donated $1,000 to Banyan Community Services, helping ensure that three Dundas-area families can enjoy a brighter, more joyful Christmas.

Banyan 2025 Donation
Banyan group members Fran Doodeman, Anisa Dasigan, Jamie Muise, Phoebe Rawson, and Anastasia Sapko are being given a donation by Lion Richard Spencer.

Banyan Community Services plays a vital role in our region, offering a range of specialized programs for adults, children, and youth. Their mission is rooted in creating opportunities—opportunities to learn, grow, and build stronger connections. Through targeted supports, Banyan helps individuals develop essential life skills, improve behaviours, and feel more engaged with their community.

With the Lions’ donation, Banyan will be able to provide holiday gifts and necessities to three families who need them most. While the holidays can be a difficult time for many, this partnership aims to bring comfort, hope, and a sense of togetherness. The Dundas Lions Club believes that every family deserves to feel the warmth of the season, and this contribution is a small but meaningful step toward making that a reality.

As we celebrate the season of giving, the Dundas Lions remain committed to serving the community through acts of kindness, collaboration, and compassion. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Banyan Community Services for the incredible work they do year-round—and for helping us spread a bit more cheer this Christmas.
